The ATM-SK423 series of washable silicone keyboards are mainly designed for use in harsh Industrial and Medical environments, such as carts, diagnostic equipments, operation rooms, lab, hospital, clinic, dental, dialysis centers, Pharmacy, greasy workstations, etc. This conventional style rigid keyboard incorporates a nano silver impregnated antibacterial silicone membrane barrier, IP68 rated, rather than being fully flat the keys protrude by about 0.8mm from the keyboard surround giving the keys a more conventional feel without hindering the ability to clean the keyboard, the low profile, low travel scissor switch keys have angled edges and are extremely reliable with a tactile feel.
The blue backlighting illuminates the legends with 5 different brightness levels and can be turned off, the keyboard can also be turned off/disabled for inplace cleaning and includes multi-media functions.
